The Free Assessment lesson is a 45 minute online 1-to-1 class.

Our free assessment session serves two purposes:

1. It lets new students experience our teaching approach for themselves - clear, supportive and easy to follow.

2. It allows us to assess and recommend the most suitable program for each student.

This session is all about understanding the student’s current level, identifying strengths, and spotting any areas that need extra support. During the lesson, the tutor will go through key chemistry topics, ask some questions, and encourage the student to share where they feel confident and where they are struggling. At the end, we provide feedback and outline a personalised plan, so both student and parent know exactly how we can help improve grades and build confidence in chemistry.

You can cancel pay-as-you-go lessons at any time. If you wish to cancel monthly pre-paid lessons, these can be cancelled also at any time, with lessons finishing on the last date you already completed payment for.

Please note: No refunds are given for monthly pre-paid lessons.

All of our lessons are delivered online, making grinds flexible and accessible no matter where you are in Ireland.

While we recommend that students access our online lessons using a laptop or PC for the best experience, lessons can be taken on any electronic device (iPad, phone, tablet etc.) that can connect to the internet and has a screen.

Quality teaching is at the heart of everything we do! All of our tutors are either qualified teachers or experienced professionals with a strong background in chemistry. We never employ anyone without a university degree in chemistry or a closely related field, so students can be confident they’re learning from someone with real expertise. This commitment ensures that every lesson is accurate, reliable, and delivered by someone who truly understands both the subject and how to teach it effectively.

After your free lesson, our team creates a personalised learning plan tailored to your needs. We share the plan with you to ensure it meets your goals and then recommend the right level of ongoing support. You're automatically eligible to book a follow-up class according to your availability.
